your art is better than mine.
still I was hoping for a bit more feedback - I mean, more people commenting on it - since I put so much work in that

it has a bit of a Monty Python look to it, only more serious or whatever.

you see, I know I currently don't spend that much time commenting on other people's work, but I need some appreciation anyway. It's just that I'm being watched by, I don't know, 50 people? - and nobody seems to have any interest.
The thing is just that it wasn't too different at the time that I was still much more active than today -- I tried being kind and help the others by commenting on their stuff, but I didn't seem to get much feedback in return. That was why I didn't submit much work for quite a long time.
I'm sure you know what I mean. You put a lot of effort into something and you're happy with what you've done, and you're sure a lot of other people will like it, too - and then there's simply zero response. Then you look around and see people whose work is just way worse and they get much more attention. And that's just frustrating.
I gave, I don't know, I think two times more comments etc than I received. The point is not that I'm self-centered and desperately longing for being adored by everybody.
Bla, I don't even know what the point is. It just doesn't feel too good.
